Race-car driver Scott Pruett is a master in the vineyard as well as at the track, and his Pruett Vineyard has released four new vintages this fall in time for the gift-giving seasons. Rolls-Royce has created a bespoke Phantom Coupé named Mirage, inspired by the powerful Arabian stallion of the same name that became famous during the 1920s and ‘30s. The one-off car, designed for the United Arab Emirates market, features a matte black exterior with horse's head incorporated into its coachline detail, a motif that continues into the Mugello Red and black interior. There is also silver detailing such as the rope inlay on the front fascia and door capping.
MA students from England's Coventry University Automotive Design course are preparing for their annual degree exhibition. This year's Show, entitled '15' will present fifteen students work from the fifteen month course in the new Coventry Transport Museum in the centre of the city.
The projects on show cover the full spectrum of vehicle concepts ranging from a luxury car inspired by Chanel perfume to a future proposal for a New York taxi and students have taken a wide variety of starting points for their project research.
